Making word searches has become a form of relaxation for me… but I promise to give you a short break from them! 🙂
This resource includes seven different word searches, each focusing on a set of common irregular verbs. Students see the present form in a word list, but in the grid, they’ll need to spot all the forms – present, past and past participle (unless it is an identical form like put–put–put or understand–understood, then to keep things clear, it will only appear once).
Every puzzle comes with an answer key. It’s perfect for reviewing past forms while making it feel like a game. Students can work in pairs or perhaps in groups.
Happy teaching & learning!
