I’m excited to share a new resource for little learners — Shape Tracing Worksheets (Part 1: Basic Shapes)!
This pack includes one shape per page, starting from the easiest (circle, square, rectangle, triangle) and gradually moving to more interesting ones like a star, heart, lightning bolt, shell, crescent, cloud, sun, and even a rainbow. Each page has:
- A big shape with arrows and numbers for guided tracing
- Smaller shapes with dotted lines in different sizes and line thickness
- A printer-friendly A4 format
Why use shape tracing?
- Builds fine motor skills
- Prepares kids for learning to write
- Helps with focus and hand–eye coordination
- Fun and motivating for preschoolers, homeschoolers, and even young ESL learners
You can download a free sample page here on the blog, or grab the full pack on Etsy as an instant download.
And good news — this is just Part 1! Part 2 will feature fun shape combinations like balloons, fish, ice cream, and more.
